Book Clubs & Public Speaking

My favorite part of authoring a novel - after the part where I get to write it in my pajamas while sipping coffee - is talking to book clubs.

Fairy Tale Blues and Crybaby Ranch lend themselves well to book club discussions, due to their variety of relationships - between lovers, mother and daughter, friends, marital partners and children. It's my experience that the books gets conversation down to the intimate foundations of life right off.

The way it works is easy. At the time of your meeting, I will be available via speaker phone. I know how to get things started, so we'll dip right into our exchange of ideas and life experiences. You won't have to feed me or share your wine. Just tell me about it and I'll imagine (that's what writers do best) that I'm sharing it with you.

If I am traveling near your community, I will happily join you, then, of course, you will have to feed me and share your wine. For speaking engagements anywhere, I am happy to comply with the needs of your organization. Please contact me.
