From Tina:

I welcome hearing from readers. We are two halves of a whole, you and I. We create our own ecosystem, writer and reader. We thrive from one another's activities, like bees and blossoms.

In Jackson Hole, where I have lived for the past 30 years, this connectedness of living things is so present it would be difficult to exclude it from one's world view. The mountain ranges are vast and beautiful; the wild animals varied and abundant; the weather fierce; and the people living here awake to it all.

If anything defines my life it is the intention to become fully aware and participating in the exchange of creative energy all about me. That includes writing, of course, but also includes my relationships, the outdoors, and spiritual practice.

These subjects are what I write about, either overtly or covertly. I write about what I want to understand, following my curiosity toward a place that often asks more questions than it answers. But that, too, is true of life.

Joseph Campbell said, "People say that what we're seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think that's what we're really seeking. I think that what we're seeking is an experience of being alive..."

As readers and writers, we agree with Joseph Campbell. We both read and write in order to expand our experiences of being alive.
